Litigation and Arbitration

Litigation is composed of a group of professionals with extensive experience in the resolution of major and complex civil and commercial conflicts.

Our work method consists of establishing and defining the strategy to be followed; conducting an analysis of the evidential activity to be performed and preparing exhaustive and detailed pleadings and oral interventions before the courts, always with lawyers of renowned experience.

The arbitration department, of increasing presence in our firm, provides counsel in all aspects and phases of the arbitration proceeding, national and international. Specifically:

· Counsel on the advisability or otherwise of submitting an agreement or transaction to arbitration.

· Design of the arbitration, as appropriate, recommending the most appropriate institution or ad hoc arbitration.

· Drafting of arbitration agreements included in the agreements, as well as the scope and consequences of each pact in the specific case.

· Participation as counsel in all types of arbitration: national or international, ad hoc or institutional and, in the latter case, before any type of court.

· Intervention or definition of the arbitration proceeding in the “Terms of reference”.

· Defence of the merits of the case.

· Participation as arbitrators, sole or joint, in all above types of arbitration proceedings.
